So, the mother of a young child leaves the baby in the care of her pet Rotweiler while she goes off to run some errands. This picture book has very few words. The story takes us through the many adventures Carl and Baby get into during their time together. They play dress-up and slide down the laundry shoot. Carl makes sure to have Baby back in her crib before Mother returns, with Mother being none-the-wiser. It's sweet and silly and fun, fun, fun.
