I picked up this book after reading the author's blog, which I found to be quite funny.The book didn't disappoint, but it didn't wow me either. A vampire named Graf gets trapped in a small town that's been cursed. For five years, no one's been able to get in or out of the town. And there's a huge monster in the town, which randomly attacks and sometimes kills townspeople. Graf meets the heroine of the story when both are trapped in an abandoned gas station when "It" attacks.Thrown together, the two work to figure out how to lift the curse. All kinds of small town hijinx ensue. It was a fun, quick read but I really didn't feel any attachment to the characters. I would recommend this for a summer beach read.
