This is the third book in the series. I didn't read #2 because I found these at a thrift store and they only had 1 and 3. So there is this group of friends who hang out and knit together and solve murders. It reminds me of the whole Murder, She Wrote joke that you wouldn't want to be Jessica Fletcher's friend 'cause you're probably going to get killed. Same here. Kelly has been hanging out in Colorado for 6 months and this is her third murdered friend/associate. Not good odds. Aside from this glitch, which is really the author's problem, it's a fun little read. Kelly and friends stick their noses in where they don't belong and ultimately solve a murder the cops were not solving. Based on the two books I've read, Sefton's books follow a pattern. The cops have a good suspect, Kelly doesn't buy it and starts her own investigation, kelly tracks down all the other obvious candidates. Most of them are innocent and amused that Kelly saw them as potential killers. They become best buds. Then Kelly calls out the real killer and the cops are right there to rap it up. You have to be willing to suspend your belief, because there are things happening here that I'm pretty sure don't happen in real investigations. Let go and have fun.
