Angel Time - Anne Rice This book took me forever to get through. Anne Rice writes about a character, Toby, who needs to be saved from himself. In answer to his prayers, along comes his guardian angel. Boring and slow paced. Story picks up a little when GA reveals his reason for appearing to Toby, which is that he needs someone with a physical body to help him accomplish something. Okay, but then he completely deserts Toby, who is left to figure out how to save the Jewish couple being tormenting in 13th century in England. Why, all of a sudden, is the GA unable to communicate with Toby ? Frustrating for the most part, although I did enjoy the story of the Jewish couple and their life in England.
